7165 E University Dr, Bldg 14, Ste 155, Mesa, AZ
Psychiatric nurse practitioner Kimberly (goes by her middle name, Deseree) is passionate about helping people with ADHD! Her husband and three children all have ADHD, and she is well-aware of its many intricacies and frustrations - but also its wonderful quirks. She specializes in treating ADHD and autism (she is a Certified Autism Specialist) and also treats all other mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and more. She tries hard to meet each person exactly where they are, showing kindness and grace each step of the way. She loves helping people with their mental health - when she's not enjoying mint chocolate chip ice cream, perfecting the art of the power nap, or traveling with her adorable new husband.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Deseree has been described as down-to-earth and lighthearted. She is serious about treating mental health - especially ADHD - but is quirky with everything else! Her goal is to make sure all patients feel supported and heard.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Deseree meets with patients either via telehealth or in-person - whatever is easiest for you! New patient appointments typically take 60 to 90 minutes and follow-ups take about 20 to 30 minutes. If starting on ADHD medications like stimulants, Deseree will see patients a month after starting a new medication to re-assess how well it works, but once we're established on a good medication regimen, visits are only required every three months.
