“Dr. Kimberly Koury was really nice and listened very well to my concerns. I had a small lump that developed near my ankle and she put my mind at ease that it was, luckily, something not to worry about. She had their office do an x-ray right away just to make sure her initial diagnosis was correct.
The office is very clean and new. All the staff were very welcoming.
I found Dr. Koury through the Englewood Health System since she specializes in the ankle and I'm glad I took the chance to see her. There was a bit of a wait in the office before she could see me but I didn't mind since I took the only appointment they had available the same day I wanted to be seen.
Dr. Koury advised that the lump did not need surgery based on the diagnosis and she walked me through the full x-ray thoroughly. I greatly appreciated her manner and that she didn't just want to do an unnecessary surgery. I would see her again in the future should I ever need to. ”

About Dr. Kimberly Koury
Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon Kimberly Koury, MD, has joined Englewood Health. Dr. Koury’s main clinical interests are foot and ankle fractures, foot and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle arthritis, traumatic foot injuries, tendon and ligament disorders, and sports medicine. She joins Englewood Orthopedic Associates, part of the Englewood Health Physician Network, and welcomes new patients to her practice, in Englewood and Paramus.
“Whether it is a sports injury, traumatic foot or ankle injury, or osteoarthritis, in my practice I focus on creating an individualized treatment plan to reduce pain and help restore function,” says Dr. Koury. “Using surgical and nonsurgical treatments to improve foot and ankle health, I focus on helping patients of all ages and lifestyles get comfortably back on their feet so they can pursue what inspires them.”
Dr. Koury received her MD from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in Piscataway. She did an orthopedic surgery residency, and was chief resident, at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, in Baltimore, and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, NY. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.

I wish the doctor was more thorough in her explanation as far as the difference between a boot and a brace for my needs. This would’ve made a difference in my choice. The wait time was longer than what I expected. I don’t mind waiting an hour but this was longer.
