I am a board-certified psychiatric NP with AgniPsych & Wellness. I hold a Master’s in Nursing from New York University. My wholistic approach to treatment combines evidence-based psychopharmacology with a therapeutic process that prioritizes the individual and their goals over their symptoms. I have experience helping people overcome depression, anxiety, and ADHD. While there is currently no cure for addiction, I have helped those affected by this condition lead healthy and happy lives. I rely on my clinical experience for diagnosis and pharmacology; however, what sets me apart is my expertise in talk therapy and my ability to relate to others.
I have personally faced the challenges of divorce, single parenthood, and the daunting task of going back to school to qualify for my dream job. I am happily remarried and a proud mother of three, the most recent of whom we welcomed earlier this year. I know what it’s like to be down and how difficult it can be to rediscover your stride. I firmly believe that surrounding yourself with a loving and supportive team makes this a realistic goal for anyone. A productive relationship with an understanding practitioner who can help you navigate your challenges and provide the skills to conquer them is among the first steps. I find that those who share this philosophy, are willing to own their journey, and are supported by appropriate pharmacology will find all that they are looking for.

Unfortunately after I put in considerable research the practice called me to say that the provider I had chosen isn’t actually available. They placed me with another provider (without any question of preferences or anything) who I did end up keeping my appointment with, but who is also moving my care to another provider in the practice, so I guess I’ll have another new patient appointment this week? This is strange.
