Love her. I'm SO picky about doctors, but she's hands down my favorite. Every appointment is just as long as I want it to be, she listens, answers all my questions, and has a very calm kind nature. I'll always recommend her when I can.

Very efficient office staff, yearly exam was performed by the doctor. I appreciated how quick and timely they were once I was in the exam room, but it did feel slightly rushed. She explained things and answered all of my questions; had no problem prescribing the exact birth control requested. Overall a good experience, but make sure you have your questions and concerns in mind ahead of time and make sure they're known up front!

Dr Loar received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in May, 2001. After assisting in research with the Women’s Health Initiative in Jacksonville Florida, she began her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville. Active in both practice and teaching during her residency, Dr. Loar served on a variety of committees and held positions on counsels designed to further communication between doctors and nurses. During her time in Florida, she received many awards, including the Berlex Outstanding Resident Teacher Award. Dr. Loar served as Administrative Chief Resident during her last year of residency, combining her excellence in patient care with her outstanding leadership and teaching skills.
With research experiences ranging from surgery to antepartum care, Dr. Loar’s interest in the field of obstetrics/gynecology extends to supporting medical advancement and finding new ways to better serve women’s needs.
In addition to offering expert and attentive obstetric care, Dr. Loar is trained in the management of menstrual disorders and pelvic pain. She is especially interested in minimally invasive (laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic surgery) surgery for the treatment of a variety of problems including chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. Her expertise includes laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies as well as pelvic reconstruction. Her training and background affords her the ability to care for patients with a wide variety of gynecological/obstetric needs.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Loar has long-worked to make sure underserved populations in the areas she has worked are heard and understood. Her caring and compassion for people shows through in her work.

She is very nice and welcoming. I especially appreciated the fact that even though I was really late (thanks to the wrong address on ZooDoc), she was very understanding and generous. She also really knows what she is doing, and I will definitely be going back to her if I ever need to make another OBGYN appointment. Highly recommended!
