Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I love helping people take control of their own health through education, encouragement, and working as a team to meet their goals. It is personally rewarding to use my education to help others create better personal health so they can live full and enjoyable lives. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I believe my role is to guide preventative care to maintain overall health, support and treat short-term illness for full recovery as quickly as possible, and assist with long-term health goals to maximize health and fitness for full enjoyment of life. I also believe we are most successful when we acknowledge the huge overlap of physical, mental, and even spiritual health when attempting to create a truly healthy body. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? My family and my faith are my highest priorities. I love fun adventures, traveling with my husband and family, scuba diving, football, yoga, and pretty much all sports and exercise. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, as well as serving in my community.
