Hello and welcome to Vitality Wellness Clinic! I'm Kimberly Wingard, a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in mental health care, and I'm here to provide you with compassionate and comprehensive support.
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I'm deeply committed to your mental well-being. In addition to my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas at Arlington and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Family Medicine, I hold a post-graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
At Vitality Wellness Clinic, mental health is our specialty, and we offer a range of services tailored to support your mental wellness. From assessment and diagnosis to personalized treatment plans, I'm dedicated to helping you navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Together, we'll explore evidence-based therapies, medication management, and holistic approaches to empower you on your journey to mental wellness.
In addition to traditional psychotherapy and medication management, I also offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals dealing with opioid use disorder. MAT combines medication with counseling and behavioral therapy to provide comprehensive care for those struggling with opioid dependence, helping to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms while promoting long-term recovery.
Furthermore, I'm passionate about promoting holistic wellness through health promotion services. I'll work with you to develop strategies for stress management, healthy lifestyle changes, and self-care practices to enhance your mental and physical health.

Dr. Wingard is amazing! I was so nervous as this was my first time making an appointment with a psychiatrist and have always been hesitant to make one. She made me feel comfortable from the start. I can’t explain if it was her tone of voice, her eye contact, but something in her aura immediately made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands.
I am very excited to start treatment with her and I feel very taken care of. She went beyond prescribing me a medication that will likely help with my situation, she took my current health conditions into consideration and made several holistic recommendations. She answered all my questions patiently, listened to my whole life story and I could really feel like she cared for me, even though she had literally just met me.
If I would’ve known my experience would’ve been that positive, I would’ve made my appointment years ago.
Still have to see how my treatment goes but off of this first session experience, I would recommend her to anyone!
