As an active mother living with mental health challenges, asking for help hasn't always been easy. After an insurance change forced me to leave the healthcare team I'd trusted for three years, I was terrified of starting over.
From my first virtual visit, Dr. Johns immediately put me at ease. She is warm, down-to-earth, and made me feel like I was talking to someone I'd known for years. She listened without rushing me, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel truly seen, heard, and respected—not like just another patient or diagnosis.
Scheduling was easy, communication was excellent, and I left feeling hopeful, validated, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Johns reminded me that compassionate healthcare still exists. I highly recommend her.

Finally, someone heard me! Dr Johns read the note I left when I made the appt and she picked up my anxiety and the desperation I felt due to a recent traumatic event. She listened to my medical history and was shocked that other psychiatrists had refused to treat me with medications I had used effectively in the past. A little research and they could have seen the medication worked for me while other medication gave me serious reactions. They didn’t want to be bothered. In this one visit her compassion, knowledge and expertise in her field was so evident. I look forward to many more sessions with her! Thank you Dr Johns for hearing me and helping me through this most difficult time of my life!

The best Dr I've ever had!! When the virtual visit had lost connection the Dr promptly called me and we finished the appointment via phone! She even called to make sure i received my prescriptions the next day! I've never had a Dr call and check on me the following day!! She definitely was a active listener and didn't just feed me a bunch of meds. She has my vote as Dr of the year and five stars hands down i would give her ten if i could!!
