“Should Recommend that you come 30 min early for your first visit to fill out paperwork. Or Send First Time Patient Forms by Email so you can Pre-Fill Out them ahead of time. I arrived about 10 min ahead of time but there were several pts ahead of me so when I was finally given the paperwork to fill out it took me 20 min which made me Late for my appointment.”

About Kirstyn Vega
Kirstyn Vega is a national and North Carolina board-certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is trained in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, with a special interest in skin cancer detection. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. A Michigan native, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and completed her pre-PA studies at Western Michigan University. She then relocated to North Carolina to attend Wingate University, where she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
She now resides in South Carolina with her husband, three children, and her dog, Cubby. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and going to the theater.

I did not feel listened to during my appointment. My concerns were brushed off, and the diagnosis seemed generic rather than based on my symptoms. The prescribed treatment worsened my condition, and I was later told no follow-up appointments were available, which left me without support. Overall, I didn’t feel my concerns were fully addressed. I would not return.

She listened to me without interrupting and explained everything clearly while still being friendly. I felt seen, by ALL staff. The waiting room was nice, as well as the front desk staff. They didn’t rush me to complete my paperwork and were soft spoken
