I had a very positive experience with Dr. Chakote at the practice on Veteran Avenue in Brooklyn. I was not aware that I was not gonna be seen at my appointment time. I was there at 8:30 in the morning then I came in right before my appointment at nine and it was other people in the hallway waiting and I asked will I be seeing at my appointment time? She said no everybody else here will be seen first and then I will be seen after so therefore I was not able to wait to see be seen by the doctor so what is the point of having our appointment at 9 AM we’re not gonna be seen until almost 10 11 o’clock

Dr. Chakote is my new primary care physician after over 6 years with my previous one; and considering from toddler to teen I had the same family care physician - this is quite an uncomfortable time: getting to know you.
Yet, within a brief amount of time (right from hello, in fact) Dr. Chakote helped create an honest, frank caring rapport that has allowed me to instantaneously trust him and give him life long historical medical and personal information. He listens (and we disagree). He is caring. He communicates. He sees his office and practice as a continuation of the many years of bonds which his father has invested in the practice (father is a rehab expert). Office is easy to get to, some weekend hours also; friendly very professional and kind staff. I look forward to continuing this very private, personal medical relationship with Dr. Chakote - who has an MBA and is a published author!
