About Korie Lambert
My passion for healthcare comes from the balance of clinical science and meaningful human connection. That combination drew me to primary care and, more specifically, to diabetes management and preventive care. To deepen my expertise in this area, I pursued additional training and became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), with a focus on diabetes management, weight management and preventive care.
My approach to patient care is rooted in creating a relaxed, comfortable environment where patients feel at ease and supported. When patients feel heard and understood, they're more open and engaged in their care, which leads to better outcomes. At Novant Health, we combine evidence-based medicine with open communication to develop individualized, sustainable care plans that align with each patient's needs and goals.
Giving back to the next generation of clinicians is something I take seriously. I serve as a clinical preceptor for local physician assistant programs, mentoring students while staying current with evolving best practices inpatient care.
