Dr. Korlu Wolobah-kuyon, RN, APRN, DNP, FNP

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
7836 Oakwood Rd, Ste A, Glen Burnie, MD
Hello! I’m Dr. Korlu Wolobah-Kuyon, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. When I founded First Care Wellness and Medical Services, I did so with a simple but powerful mission: to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. As a Liberian woman and a doctoral-prepared Nurse Practitioner, I know firsthand how important it is to have a healthcare provider who understands your background, respects your journey, and treats you as a whole person—not just a list of symptoms. I chose to specialize in mental health and primary care because I believe that a healthy mind is the foundation for a healthy life. In many of our communities, talking about mental health isn't always easy. I’m here to change that. Whether we are managing your physical health or supporting your emotional well-being, my goal is to provide a warm, judgment-free environment where healing can happen. My practice is built on the idea of integrated care. This means we look at the big picture: how your physical health affects your mood, and how your stress levels affect your body. By bringing these two worlds together, we can create a wellness plan that actually fits your life. I am honored to serve our community here in Glen Burnie and across Maryland, Virginia, and DC. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your path to wellness. Why See With Me? A Personal Touch: I bring my lived experience as a Liberian woman to every conversation, ensuring our care is culturally sensitive and respectful. Whole-Person Care: You don’t have to go to three different offices to get the help you need; we care for your mind and body under one roof. A Safe Space: We prioritize a "no-stigma" approach to mental health, making it easier for you to prioritize your peace of mind. Expert Guidance: With advanced doctoral training, I provide high-level medical expertise delivered with a neighborly heart.
