Getting to know Kourtney Darrow
I am here to help service those struggling to find the right medication regimens to improve their mental health. I love creating treatment plans that leave patients feeling comfortable and confident about the direction we navigate their care. I aim to collaborate with patients so they feel their voice has been heard and their needs have been met. I hold a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I offer diagnoses and treatment interventions with medications to help stabilize or improve your mental health. I work with those experiencing a variety of DSM-V diagnoses including; MDD, GAD, PTSD, Bipolar I/II Disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, OCD, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia and many others. I also offer full neurocognitive testing!
What is your typical process for working with clients?
1) Schedule Your Appointment by selecting your preferred date and time.
2) You will receive an email invitation to set up your Charm PHR Portal. This portal allows you to complete necessary paperwork, access appointment details, and communicate with your provider.
3) After logging into the Charm PHR, you’ll find your intake paperwork under questionnaires. Please complete these forms as soon as possible to ensure a smooth first visit.
4) Set Up Your Headway Account (If applicable). You will receive a sign-up email from Headway. This is used for billing and insurance purposes. Follow the instructions to verify your account.
5) Once your intake paperwork is submitted, you will receive additional clinical assessments to complete before your appointment.
6) After all forms and assessments are completed, you’re all set for your first visit!

Kourtney is very kind and professional. She is great at explaining treatment options and guiding us through our treatment decisions. She has a wonderful way of connecting with a child who is hesitant to try new things. Overall, we are very happy with the care that we have received.

Kourtney is so nice! She is so down to earth and relatable. Though I have been seeing her for a short amount of time, I really like her and click with her. I feel comfortable about sharing my experiences and being open about the issues I’m facing. It’s really hard to find proper mental health help however I really recommend this office! They have been so great to work with and helped me get seen quickly!
