What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and mood disorders. Together, we'll explore your concerns, identify your goals, and create an individualized treatment plan. Treatment may include medication management and supportive strategies to reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and help you feel more balanced and in control.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. During the initial evaluation, I take time to understand their current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, medications, lifestyle, stressors, and treatment goals. I also assess for safety concerns and other factors that may be contributing to their symptoms. From there, I work collaboratively with the client to develop an individualized treatment plan. Depending on their needs, this may include medication management, education, behavioral and lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists, primary care providers, or other members of their care team. I believe treatment should be a collaborative process, and I want clients to feel informed and involved in decisions about their care. At follow-up visits, I assess symptom changes, medication effectiveness and tolerability, functioning, and progress toward treatment goals. I adjust the treatment plan as needed and provide ongoing support and education. My overall approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and focused on helping each client achieve meaningful, sustainable improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
