I am a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care across the lifespan. My clinical foundation was built at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I pursued advanced training while working in the Emergency Department at UNC Hospital, including the behavioral health emergency unit. During this time, I also became certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, deepening my commitment to trauma-informed care. I bring a strong academic and clinical background to my work with individuals aged 5 to 105. I have a particular passion for the assessment and treatment of older adults experiencing cognitive decline and dementia, and I maintain a broad scope of practice treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and a commitment to improving quality of life for every patient I serve.
