Dermatologists typically look at me like I’m a crazy person because I do not wear sunscreen and I build and maintain a solid tan year round despite being rather mole-y. Melanin/mitochondria connection :) She was kind and to the point, non-judgmental of my skincare choices, and she did a bang up job doing a shave removal of a cm mole that I had monitored for years and it had changed. I didn’t feel even a hint of discomfort. I’m a healthcare provider of 20 years by trade and I’ve worked with healthcare providers across multiple specialties my whole career. Kristin is the real deal. This was a good experience and if I need further evaluation or treatment, I will return. Recommend!”

“This was my first dermatology visit since moving to Greenville, and I’ll admit I was a bit anxious going in because of my concerns about my moles. Dr. Kristen Hinte was absolutely wonderful — she was so kind and took the time to thoroughly check every single one of my moles. She listened closely when I shared my concerns and was incredibly proactive in asking questions to make sure we covered everything I needed. The two nurses were also amazing. The nurse who checked me into my room went above and beyond to help me get my medical records from my previous dermatologist added to my chart so that Dr. Hinte had the full picture before coming in. Overall, it was an amazing visit and such a relief to feel so cared for. I’m looking forward to going back for my follow-ups knowing I’m in such good hands.”

About Kristen Hinte

Kristen combines compassion and knowledge to deliver the best medical dermatologic care she possibly can to her patients. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marietta College after completing her undergraduate degree in chemistry at The Ohio State University. Some of the areas she enjoys focusing on include the treatment and management of acne-prone skin, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and skin cancer detection and prevention. Raised in West Virginia, Kristen recently relocated to Greenville from Indiana to be closer to family and get back to the mountains. She is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and son as well as cooking and reading.

Alisha & Kristin were both incredible. Alisha was really down to earth & made me feel comfortable during my initial intake—these types of appointments typically make me a bit anxious, but the way Alisha treated me allowed for me to feel totally comfortable. Kristin was really thorough in her communication style and exam of just an overall body check. She made sure to present me with treatment options which allowed me to have complete autonomy in my care. Even the women at the front desk upon my check in and check out were awesome. I don’t remember their names unfortunately but they were so kind and welcoming. Even when I called to originally schedule my appointment, the receptionist showed that she actually cared about my concerns and double checked their books to schedule me in as early as possible. I feel more confident and in control of my skin care now than I ever have. It was a great experience overall.
