Nutritionist

Hi! I’m Kristen Nyampong, a Registered Dietitian based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I support clients through a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive approach that is compassionate, culturally grounded, and tailored to real life rather than rigid ideals. I specialize in working with teens and adults with eating disorders, especially ARFID, as well as those navigating disordered eating, chronic dieting, or a stressful relationship with food. I have experience supporting clients in PHP and IOP settings and now work one-on-one with individuals who are ready to take meaningful steps toward healing. As a Ghanaian-American dietitian, I’m passionate about integrating cultural identity into nutrition care by honoring traditional foods and making space for culture in the healing process. I also have a family history of diabetes, which shapes how I support clients with blood sugar concerns or prediabetes through practical, compassionate care. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in your lived experience. Together, we can work on building consistent meal patterns, reconnecting with hunger and fullness cues, and creating a more peaceful relationship with food. Our work may also include grocery planning, exploring new foods, developing meal and snack ideas, and navigating challenging food situations. I’ll meet you where you are and, when you’re ready, gently support you in moving toward healing with care and respect.
