About Dr. Kristen Ras

Dr. Kristen Ras grew up in La Grange, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. In her junior year at U of I, she took a class where she shadowed in a local chiropractic office under an incredible chiropractor. She was amazed by the atmosphere and positivity of the office as well as the incredible testimonies of healing that were shared by his chiropractic patients. This experience inspired her to apply for chiropractic school herself. At Logan University in Chesterfield, MO, Dr. Kristen earned her second Bachelor’s degree, her Doctorate of Chiropractic, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. This is also where she met her future fiancé, Dr. Greg. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Kristen was fortunate to not only meet, but be mentored by a couple of amazing doctors that were already seeing incredible success in the chiropractic field. She was invited to be a part of their office for her internship for the 4 months prior to graduation. It was here at Stewart Chiropractic Center in Hendersonville, TN (a suburb right outside of Nashville), that Dr. Kristen truly fell in love with chiropractic. She remained in Hendersonville for another 3 years after graduation to continue to learn, grow, and gain experience to better serve the community. After 3 years apart, Drs. Kristen and Greg got engaged and traveled the Midwest looking for a home to start their own chiropractic journey together. After exploring multiple cities, they both agreed that Kansas City, and more specifically Lee’s Summit, just felt like home. Together with their combined experience, knowledge, and passion for natural health, they are eager to better the quality of life of the entire Lee’s Summit community
