“I have gone to several practices and I have to say this was one of the best experiences. Personally, I hate going to the gynecologist because you feel vulnerable and often times not really listened to. Dr. Smith was patient while listening to my concerns and questions. She listened and clarified everything that I was worried about and was having an issue with. Also, at most gynecologist offices they will send you to various places to get imaging done and bloodwork. They did everything onsite which is so helpful when you are already worried about what may be going on, and you face time constraints due to a hectic life schedule. I didn't feel pressured to make any immediate decisions and I felt respected and heard. This was such a good experience I am going to make an appointment for my mom as well. I had read the good reviews and imagined I'd have a good experience but this experience went far beyond my expectations. ”

Kristen Smith, PA-C, is a Board-certified physician assistant who grew up in Georgia and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia. She then moved to New York to attend Touro College and University System in Bay Shore, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's in Physician Assistant Studies. Kristen PA was great! She addressed my concerns and ordered the appropriate testing. She also thoroughly explained everything to me. I'm to glad to have found this office after trying other GYNs in the area and feeling super rushed. The rest of the staff were also so nice and the office runs very efficiently. I would highly recommend!

Confidentiality and HIPPA are not their strong suit. They are not vigilant about their patients healthy and when something comes back as questionable they send a message on the portal a random MA sends it—- telling you to come back in a year?! Mind you the doctor never even contacted me to explain results. Advice? Keep searching. Let’s leave it there.

Horrible communication within the office.
Never notified pharmacy coverage of prescription and then office staff did not try to solve or communicate about the issue.
I thought I'd try a new provider closer to home. Guess I will go back to LIJ providers.

This experience restored my faith in gynos. In the past I had a very traumatic experience getting an IUD put in with little to no pain management which has since left me with severe mental health issues which are especially triggered by similar experiences. Kristin listened to everything I had to say and thoroughly assured me I would not be put through any more pain. We went through all the options for getting my IUD replaced and she made a special note to talk to other doctors in their practice so help figure out what the best plan would be for me. She told me if I didn’t hear from her in the next two weeks to call the office and touch base. Everyone else in the office was so nice and welcoming even when I had no clue what I was doing.

The office was nice, and all office staff were warm and welcoming.
The medical assistant who went over my paperwork with me was kind and thorough. The exam room had a separate changing area with a curtain which was really nice.
The PA who I saw for my appointment, Kristen Smith, was very kind and patient. She talked with me through each part of the appointment and made me as comfortable as possible.
