About Kristin Ruiz

Kristin Ruiz is a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant at True North Neurology. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Kristin worked at our practice as a Medical Assistant / Scribe where she was inspired to continue her education and career in neurology. As part of her formal education and training, she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Degree at South University at Tampa with High Honors, as well as earning a Master of Arts in Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care and Bioethics Degree at Stony Brook University in New York. Prior to earning her master’s degrees, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Siena College in New York. Her interests include headaches, ADHD, sleep medicine, Botox procedures, trigger point injections, dementia, and memory impairment. Kristin is also part of the True North Neurology Research Team as a Sub Investigator in several trials. With her caring and calm personality, Kristin makes it a priority to listen to her patients while creating an environment for them to easily communicate their needs. She feels it is important to educate and empower her patients to really understand their condition and treatment plan which in turn helps make a more meaningful change in their lives.

The doctor and office staff was excellent!! Zocdoc schedules appointments that aren’t available , this is the 2nd time I tried scheduling through zocdoc, both times had the same result ,no appointment!! Will not use zocdoc again. The office staff got me an appointment with a different doctor in the office a little later in the day, again the doctor and office staff were excellent!!
