Kristina provides medication management combined with a therapeutic approach that is practical, evidence based, and holistic. To maximize quality of life, Kristina works with each client to help achieve their wellness goals through education, lifestyle modification, supplementation, medication, and therapies that help integrate and heal the mind-body connection. With every client, Kristina builds a therapeutic partnership based on safety, empathy, non-judgement, and empowerment. Kristina works with clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, mood instability, obsession and compulsion, attention deficit and hyperactivity, psychosis, and more.
Kristina is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who graduated from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, she spent over a decade working as an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Registered Nurse providing compassionate care for clients in crisis at an inpatient hospital in North Carolina. Kristina is continually pursing advanced education to maximize clients’ quality of life. In addition to graduate education and board certification, she has earned a number of certificates including CPI Advanced Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Neuroscience Education Institute Master Psychopharmacology, Gender and Sexuality Diversity Institute training, and Motivational Interviewing. She is also pursuing advanced education in Traumatic Stress Studies through the Trauma Research Foundation, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training through EMDRIA to provide specialized treatment for clients experiencing symptoms of acute and chronic traumatic stress.
