About Kristine Equina

Kristine Equina is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner through ANCC. Prior to joining CareMount, Kristine worked as a Registered Nurse for Maimonides Medical Center Inpatient Cancer Unit for 10 years. She also worked with HIV/AIDS patients at Rivington House Healthcare Facility-VCNY. She began her nursing career in Oncology, Telemetry, ICU in the Philippines. Kristine finds interacting with patients to be both rewarding and educational. She believes that pain can be controlled, reduced, or ended. I have been seeing Kristine since she started with Optum (Caremount). Kristine is a great person; very friendly and listens to me about issues I am having with my back and other pains.
