Kristine’s passion for nutrition began when she was a young child when her mother was diagnosed with diabetes. Since then, Kristine has been interested about the impact that food has on the body and mind. Kristine’s passion for nutrition led her to her current career path as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She graduated from Utah State University in 2016 where she completed over 1,300 internship hours. During her dietetics internship she worked at various inpatient hospital and outpatient nutrition counseling settings. Her experience includes working with those with heart complications, kidney failure, celiac disease, eating disorders, weight management, and nutrition for sports performance. She graduated with a Masters of Science degree from the University of Alabama in 2019, majoring in Human Nutrition with an emphasis in Community Nutrition. Since then, Kristine has worked as a nutrition instructor where she organized and prepared freezer meal classes while teaching nutrition information. As a mother of four children, Kristine is also passionate about maternal and infant nutrition. She has taken multiple graduate courses regarding nutrition throughout pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, lactation, infant nutrition, and childhood nutrition. Kristine realizes how gentle nutrition, intuitive eating, and parent/child division of responsibilities, can help shape the health and wellness of individuals and families. Kristine has a passion for increasing the health and wellness of the community, and has realized that it begins with one person at a time. Kristine loves helping people reach their personal nutrition goals, customized to their situation and lifestyle.
