I chose family medicine because I enjoy caring for patients at all stages of life from birth through end of life. I strive to communicate with my patients as openly and honestly as I can. My training in family medicine strongly emphasized centering the patient's voice in their care, and I continue to carry that with me in my career. I also strive to provide whole person care that takes into account not only physical but mental and emotional well-being. I enjoy meditation and yoga. In my free time, I volunteer as a meditation and breath-work instructor for healthcare professionals and the general community. I love exploring vegan and vegetarian restaurants wherever I travel. I completed my medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and my residency at Montefiore Medical Center. I am board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
