About Dr. Krystal Kwong
Dr. Krystal Kwong earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Houston Christian University and her medical degree from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio. She completed her residency in the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Program in San Antonio.
Dr. Kwong is a board-certified family medicine specialist who sees pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. In addition to board certification, she holds certificates in basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation, advanced life support in obstetrics and advanced cardiovascular life support.
She treats both acute conditions and chronic conditions such as depression, anxiety, hypertension and diabetes. One of her primary clinical interests is preventative care, and she provides routine screenings, obesity counseling, contraceptive care and general wellness exams.
Her approach to care centers on valuing patient autonomy and working collaboratively to design a comprehensive treatment plan. She wants her patients to view her as a physician who listens carefully so, as a team, they can navigate through any health concerns patients have.

Loved Dr. Kwong! She was so sweet, great at listening and asked for consent during the entire physical. Told her about my smoking habits and she recommended I get a Pneumonia vaccine that would last me until I’m 50. Super caring, you can really tell she loves her job and cares for her patients.
I was in and out super quickly, and they even have a Quest Diagnostics in the building so if I had fasted I would have been able to get my blood work done right after my appointment.

Her medical assistant Marissa was great as well. The front office was friendly and efficient. Another bonus was being able to do labs immediately after in the same office! Dr. Kwong was great. She came in the exam room at exactly my appointment time to greet me, shake my hand, thank me for choosing them (I'm a new patient), and tell me she was finishing up with another appointment and would be in soon. Throughout my appointment, she asked my permission before doing anything (could I raise your shirt a bit, do you mind lying down, etc). She explained my options, what was recommended, and then asked me what I wanted to do. Wonderful doctor with equally wonderful staff.

I can’t explain how it feels to have a person be genuinely pleasant within their demeanor. you can tell she loves her job and this was the best visit i’ve ever had. Her and her office were so efficient I was in and out for a physical with blood testing in 45 minutes and I did not feel rushed at all! She recommended some testing and kept a smile on her face. Attentive is not even the word, she feels like my doctor soulmate LOL it was truly a pleasure and I hope to stay her patient for years to come

Dr. Kwong was absolutely wonderful. I was coming in for my annual physical, but I was also in the market for a new PCP and annual exam provider and I am so thrilled that I found Dr. Kwong. She had wonderful bedside manners, was really informative and took the time to answer my questions. I didn’t feel like just a number. Would highly recommend!

Building had plenty of free parking and the office was very clean. Front desk had all of my information and checked me in quickly. I was called back maybe 2 minutes after my appointment time and was seen by the doctor quickly after being put in the room. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great visit and will be back next year for my annual physical.

Dr. Kwong is amazing!! If you’re new to Houston and need a primary care doctor she’s your girl! She’s kind, very intelligent and made me feel very comfortable. This office is also the most efficient doctor’s office I’ve EVER been to. As long as you show up on time, they get you in and out very quickly. This was my second visit thinking the first time was a fluke, nope! It was just as fast, if not faster. I didn’t feel rushed either. I’ll be going to Dr. Kwong from now on! Thank you!!
