About Dr. Kulsuma Ahmed
Dr. Kulsuma Ahmed MD was born and raised in Astoria Queens NY. Growing up with a family of physicians she always knew medicine was her true calling. As a Board Certified Internal Medicine doctor, Dr. Ahmed brings over 10 years of experience in Primary care and hospitalist medicine.
She is trilingual with fluency in Bengali, Spanish, and English. Dr. Ahmed received her medical degree from the University of Lublin. She finished her residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine: Jersey City Medical Center.
Dr. Ahmed brings her unique life experience and perspective to every patient. She believes in treating the patient and not a diagnosis. She chose to do Internal Medicine and Primary care as she believes that it is the cornerstone of medicine, preventive care, and health education.
