About Dr. Kurt Tamaru

Guardiant Health is a new type of primary care providing in-person medical care and digital/virtual wrap-around care offered 365 days a year. We created Guardiant Health/Primary Care to restore trust, compassion, and a caring approach back into the doctor-patient relationship. Under a philosophy of treating the "whole person" and not just the condition alone, Guardiant is here to help you live your life's journey and wellbeing under the best health possible! Staffed with a board-certified physician with adult and geriatric medicine experience, including experienced nursing support, a care advocate, pharmacist, and consultants in endocrinology, geriatrics, and geriatric psychiatry, we meet your medical, social, and behavioral health needs under an accountable and dedicated team. Our physician completed medical school at Loyola University Chicago, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree. Training includes internships in Family Practice at the University of Southern California and Surgery at the University of California, Davis, followed by a Residency in Family Practice at the University of Southern California.
