I'm Kyle, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I earned my Master's in Nursing from Texas State University in Round Rock. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as an RN in inpatient psychiatry for five years. Currently, I work full-time at a community mental health clinic, with availability mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. My approach to treatment is patient-centered. Your goals and expectations are important and are taken into consideration as we work together on a treatment plan. I provide medication management and brief psychotherapy. We also discuss lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your current symptoms to support your overall well-being.

I like to focus on sleep and healthy habits.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I'll give you a couple of medication options and go over the most common possible side effects and in general what to expect.
