What should a new client know about working with you?

Over the course of my career I have worked with victims and perpetrators of sexual offenses, gang members, at-risk teens and young adults with severe conduct or substance abuse concerns, and individuals from an array of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked as a mentor and youth and high school sports coach in Virginia, Maryland, and Florida.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

It can often be difficult to reach out for help from a therapist, and as such I seek to create a confidential, inviting, and nonjudgmental environment for you to feel comfortable in. We will work collaboratively to develop greater insight, understanding, coping skills, and resilience in order to help you establish sustainable solutions to the issues most important to you.
