Kylee Gonzalez, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
NJ
I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with a certification in perinatal mental health. I can provide psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications and be a part of your support system. I was trained in New York City, received my Bachelors from NYU and my Masters from Hunter College. My experience has been with very vulnerable populations, those with chronic and persistent mental illness, people experiencing homelessness or substance use disorders, and those who lack access to healthcare. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, and have a special interest (and certification!) in perinatal mental health. Pregnancy and parenthood bring forth a unique set of mental health concerns, and I am passionate about helping parents through this time in their lives. I believe in treating the person as a whole person. As a nurse, I believe that healing happens through our therapeutic relationship, and feel very privileged to be a part of your healing journey. I take a collaborative approach and utilize shared decision making in your treatment.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
