Why am I passionate about treating patients with hypothyroidism? I enjoy the challenge! Patients with hypothyroidism often have unique and sometimes complicated circumstances. Thyroid disease can be tricky because the symptoms frequently overlap with common conditions of different origins, which can be frustrating. Taking the time to listen and being open to exploring different paths of origin has been most helpful. In taking this approach, I often find I learn right alongside my patients. My approach to treating hypothyroidism is... I believe in a holistic and balanced approach to care to find the solution that works best. The goal is to optimize health and well-being as much as possible.
