“I had an outstanding experience and can’t recommend her enough. From the moment I first met her, she made me feel comfortable, listened carefully to my concerns, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. She didn't rush things and took time to ensure that I left feeling informed, supported, and cared for. What stands out most is her genuine compassion and attention to detail. She goes above and beyond to make sure nothing is overlooked, and it’s clear she truly cares about her patients’ well-being, not just physically, but emotionally too. I’ve seen a lot of providers over the years, but she is truly one of the best. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication set her apart, and I’m deeply grateful for the excellent care she provided.”

Getting to know Laken Lambert

I graduated from Wilkes University with my Master of Science in psychiatric mental health nursing. My foundational experience in the field of psychiatry began in 2012 when I started my first Bachelor's degree in psychology. From there, I gained experience working with children in residential facilities as a psychiatric technician and then with adults as a substance abuse counselor in an outpatient clinic as well as in a substance abuse rehabilitation center. These experiences reinforced the need for holistic treatment approaches as a means to improve treatment outcomes and the quality of life for people of all walks of life. Resultantly, I was inspired and motivated to pursue a career in psychiatry. I pursued a bachelor's of science degree in nursing, specialized in psychiatric nursing upon graduation, and worked with adult and pediatric patients in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings. Throughout my master's education, I gained clinical experience with people of all ages and gained specialized experience with people struggling with treatment resistant mood disorders. My background has helped me to refine my skillset and ensure that I am consistently providing and prioritizing high-quality, percent-centered, and holistic healthcare services.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I appreciate the uniqueness of each individual while recognizing that each person is similar in interesting and important ways. I am committed to ensuring that I am able to cultivate a safe and therapeutic space that encourages individuals to share details about complex and multi-faceted areas of concern, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD. Through a collaborative and dynamic approach, we will develop a treatment plan that is comprehensive, adaptive, and effective.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My first appointment with you will be a 90-minute comprehensive bio-psycho-social-spiritual evaluation so I can get to know you and understand the contributors to your mental health concerns. We will also discuss your symptoms and goals. With all the information we will develop a holistic, evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plan that will help you accomplish your goals and live a meaningful life. Your follow-up appointments will generally be 30 minutes. In these appointments we'll evaluate how the treatment plan is going, make adjustments when necessary, and use evidence-based treatments to help you accomplish your goals and live a meaningful life.
