About Dr. Lana Schikman
Dr. Lana Schikman is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine practicing in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. She offers a broad range of expertise in podiatry, including common podiatric disorders, surgical management of bone and tissue pathologies, diabetic foot care, and pediatric foot disorders. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Dr. Schikman earned her Medical Doctor degree there, with training in Internal Medicine and a subspecialty in Endocrinology at leading Moscow academic hospitals. She graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree to further pursue her medical career. She continued her medical education at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York, where she completed her surgical residency training. Given Dr. Schikman's endocrinology background, our office has great expertise in treating diabetic foot conditions and patients with peripheral vascular disease.
