It was nice to have a woman of color. The Psychiatrist was professional in her presentation of herself. Getting an appointment was easy.
I wouldn’t see her again because I didn’t feel like she cared about appropriately diagnosing me. She also wanted to put me back on a medication that I did not do well on in the past.
Word of advice/
Listen to your patients
Take time to diagnose them correctly
Let them be a part of researching medications that would be appropriate for them.
Don’t suggest a medication that your patient have told you caused them more symptoms.
