Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
GA
Hello, my name is Lanonie. I have been a nurse practitioner since 2017, beginning my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner and later expanding my expertise to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021. Over the years, I have had the privilege of providing care across the lifespan—from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. My clinical experience includes working with individuals managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, and other mental health concerns. As a single mother to an 11-year-old, I understand the importance of balancing life’s challenges while prioritizing health and well-being. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with a clearer path forward. My goal is for each person to gain a better understanding of their mental health, develop practical tools for managing symptoms, and feel empowered to actively participate in their treatment. Whether through medication management, supportive therapy, or lifestyle strategies, I aim to provide education and guidance that clients can apply in their daily lives. Over time, clients often experience improved stability, greater resilience, and a renewed sense of hope and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions A strong therapeutic alliance is at the heart of my practice as a PMHNP. I believe that meaningful progress begins with a trusting, collaborative relationship between clinician and client. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their care. Building rapport through empathy, authenticity, and consistent support helps my clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions and developing insight into their experiences.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
