Shandra is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Queens Psychiatric & Medical Care P.C. who specializes in treating clients across the lifespan. Shandra is dedicated to treating the whole person by incorporating holistic treatments with psychopharmacology.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. Shandra is a member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association as well as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has more than 8 years of experience treating clients in long-term care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric, and intensive care settings. Shandra has been practicing as a PMHNP for 4 years and has been able to use her skills as a nurse to enhance her experience as a nurse practitioner, treating each individual patient in their healing journey. She is currently participating in continuing education courses related to psychotherapy and other treatment modalities to provide integrative treatment to her clients in the near future.
