Lateef’s blend of therapy and meds works wonders
I have treatment resistant anxiety and depression. Have done years of psychotherapy and gene testing. Only certain medications alleviate my symptoms and have been life changing. I'm about to run out of my medication and this doctor was immediately closed minded to the idea of continuing my medication that I've had success with and been on for months. This doctor perpetuates stigma around addiction and it was a complete waste of time. Certain people need medications to function and he completely disregarded my well being and its effectiveness. I've been through a laundry list of medications searching for the right ones and was honest and searching for a doctor to monitor the use of what I take. Doesn't care about the quality of my life and doesn't care because he doesn't experience symptoms, he simply goes by the book for his patients and good doctors take into account a patients experience to have success. My mental health is the best it has ever been and this doctor does not care.

He treats me like a person, not a chart.
Lateef’s treatment plan gave me back control.
He's Culturally aware and deeply understanding.
I had to wait almost 15 minutes for him to join the call and after I explained my situation. He treated me as if I was a drug addict because of mistakes ive made almost 7 years ago. And even had the nerve to say the reason im seeing him is because I need to find a new doctor for my "easy to abuse" medication. That was the final straw. Maybe im seeing him because I have insurance now and my old psychologist didnt accept my insurance but he did....BUT THAT WOULD JUST BE INSANE I MUST BE A DRUG ADDICT. dude was late, clearly just laying in bed and was incredibly rude for zero reason. Thank god these calls are recorded and let there be no mistake who left this review its Elmer.

I spent 10 minutes filling out paperwork on Zocdoc and then another 10 minutes filling it out for their patient portal. I set up a VIDEO APPOINTMENT. Not long before the appointment, I get told I need to drive out an hour to see the doctor for my "in-person" appointment. I tried to call the office right after I got this text message, which went straight to voicemail. I finally got a phone call saying that they expected an in-person and they can "convert it" to telehealth. I get on and lo and behold, he has none of the information I carefully filled out, and is also agitated slightly by the last-minute switch-up, wasn't even told what had clearly happened, so he gets agitated with me immediately before I clarify. I get the same questions (3rd time) from the forms, and he is getting progressively ruder with each one. Constantly interrupting, getting more agitated. Hey buddy, if you want my medical information, read the forms I filled out - twice, or fire your front desk.
