Hi, I’m Latiema, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner accepting new patients. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults throughout New York and New Jersey via telehealth.
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment-related concerns, bipolar disorder, and other mental health challenges that may benefit from psychiatric evaluation and medication management. My approach is collaborative and individualized—I take the time to understand your symptoms, goals, concerns, and treatment preferences before developing a plan together.
I believe psychiatric care should be thoughtful, respectful, and easy to access. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you can openly discuss what you're experiencing and feel heard throughout your treatment.

I founded MAPS because I know how overwhelming life can feel when your mental health is suffering - and how powerful it is to have someone in your corner.
I care deeply about creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard. Whether you’re managing anxiety, recovering from trauma, or navigating life changes, I’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your life - not the other way around.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Appointments focus on a thorough assessment, education about treatment options, and an individualized plan based on your needs and goals. When medication is appropriate, we will discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives so that you can make informed decisions about your care.
I provide secure virtual psychiatric appointments for adults located in New York and New Jersey.
Saturday appointments are available, providing an option for patients whose work or weekday schedules make traditional appointment times difficult.
