About Dr. Latoya Haskin
Dr. Latoya Haskin, born and raised in New York, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. John's University in 2003. She then attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she attained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2007. Dr. Haskin completed her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center as a first-year resident (PMS-36) and finished her final two years at Beth Israel Medical Center, serving as chief resident in her last year. In 2010, she was accepted into a fellowship in Wound Care at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. During this fellowship, she received certification in hyperbaric medicine. A highlight of her fellowship was presenting an abstract case report entitled "The Efficacy of Ultrasonic Debridement on a Chronic Foot Ulcer" at the world-renowned Diabetic Global Foot Conference in Hollywood, California. Since completing her fellowship, Dr. Haskin has worked in various capacities, including as a Hyperbaric Attending at Maimonides Medical Center.
Dr. Latoya Haskin has a wide variety of podiatric interests, including sports medicine, diabetic foot care, wound care, laser treatment for warts and injuries, foot surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided injections, custom foot orthotics, and treatment of fungal toenails.
