What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that we all deserve to be healthy and well-supported, but that finding care can be difficult. Additionally, I think it is important to look beyond "what is wrong" and look into "how can things be better." While I use various therapeutic interventions, I rely heavily on motivational interviewing to ensure clients are comfortable, determine treatment goals, and engage in interventions - this is not one size fits all!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that we are each entitled to an individualized therapeutic journey, and that the journey is fluid. When working with clients, our treatment plan will include short term (problem focused) and long term goals as appropriate.
