Hi, I'm Laura Cordella, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD) with a background in psychology. I hold a Master's in Nutrition from City University of New York, Hunter College, and completed both an Internship in Dietetics and a Fellowship in Behavioral Health Eating Disorder Nutrition at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. I have specialized training in nutritional therapy for the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating patterns.
My approach to nutrition counseling is inclusive and accepting of all body shapes and sizes. I believe that health is so much more than simply what we eat. I help clients better understand eating behaviors and how these behaviors impact various areas of our lives. I work collaboratively with clients to help eliminate unhelpful thoughts and behaviors surrounding food and nutrition. Eating should be fun and nourishing, not stressful and confusing. Let's work together to help you discover an approach to eating that is balanced, flexible, and allows you to live a more meaningful life!
