I am a Licensed Psychologist NY, NJ, & FL. I obtained my doctorate from Yeshiva University at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1999. I have over 20 years of experience working in both clinical and academic settings. I conducted extensive research and presented at the American Psychological Association’s annual convention. As a professor, I enjoyed teaching a myriad of graduate courses including psychotherapy, psychological testing, and ethics.
I am passionate about helping others identify and achieve goals, improve relationships, improve self-esteem and confidence, identify patterns and triggers, and improve emotional stability and security. I will help you clarify your goals, brainstorm options, and develop a realistic plan of action. Additionally, I will help you understand your past and how it effects your present. I tailor my approach to best meet your needs. I utilize stress reduction and cognitive-behavioral strategies (CBT). I have extensive training in Gottman Method (for relationships) and EMDR (for trauma and ptsd). I am warm, accepting, and non-judgmental.

Laura helped me navigate one of the most trying times in my life so far. I left my job and unfortunately my insurance too, so I could not continue seeing her. Anyone who gets he chance to have Laura as a support is so incredibly lucky. She is a gem, and made such an impact in my life. I will be forever grateful for her.
