I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed the Carolina Nurse Practitioner Residency Program supported by an HRSA grant through the UNC School of Nursing. My residency training focused on integrating behavioral healthcare into primary care settings. I have also worked on a research grant developing training modules for Nurse Practitioners related to substance use, mental health, and whole-person centered care. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing with highest honors from UNC Chapel Hill. I am passionate about caring for the whole person, not just managing symptoms. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I also value holistic approaches such as mindfulness, stress reduction, meditation, physical activity, and nutrition. I work alongside clients to set thoughtful goals aimed at improving overall well-being and daily functioning. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.

    My provider is great, always on time and attentive to my needs!
    The provider seemed well-informed. I was taken aback that I would need to take a drug test. I was also informed that if I were prescribed a controlled substance I would need to take a monthly drug test. This was based on the very little information that I provided of my intake of thc. I am very familiar on the dsm criteria of substance abuse and I do not meet it. There were no specific questions asked to determine if I met it either rather a reliance on a drug test. I was providing more context unprompted.
