“Laura was great, listened to my concerns and was attentive, giving me explanations and being nice. Wait time for her to take me in was good timing since I arrived early for the appointment but the 21pgs of paper work did take a long time and passed my appointment time. Aside from that, the downside is the assistant on floor 1 mispronunced my name to something totally different. Assistant in floor 2 for my blood work also called me the wrong name which caused me to wait 1hr since I didn’t respond to a name that isn’t mine, specially when a last name isn’t called. I think the proper way to do this is calling the patients first AND last name correctly.”

“I enjoyed my visit with the doctor. She was very nice, patient, and communicated well. One of the girls in the front looked like she didn’t want to be there and wasn’t very helpful. She was wearing AirPods while speaking to me. Also the Hispanic female who took my vitals did not have the best attitude since I was running a few minutes late. She rushed me and wasn’t happy to have me go to the ladies room before my check up. I hope their customer service improves because I really liked Dr Laura. ”

Laura is originally from Houston and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. She went on to graduate with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Since then, she has practiced primarily in Family Medicine in North Carolina, California, and now is back in Texas.
Laura’s interests and experience encompass managing a wide array of chronic problems such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, mental health conditions, and practicing anti-aging medicine/hormone replacement. In her care, Laura places an emphasis on total body wellness by taking a comprehensive approach, seeking to find the root causes of issues. She caters to her patients’ preferences by practicing conventional medicine backed by evidence-based research and/or integrative medicine with alternative therapies. She also utilizes her concentration in nutrition from her Bachelor’s degree to further improve wellbeing. Just as medicine is ever-changing, she strives to evolve alongside it in order to provide the best care.
Laura chooses to work in family medicine because she loves to interact and build relationships with her patients to be a trusted resource they can feel comfortable coming to for any concerns.
She has a love for traveling and a passion for broadening her experience with different cultures. Outside of work, Laura also enjoys practicing yoga, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.

This was genuinely the best doctors appointment I’ve ever had in my life. Lauren was absolutely amazing and she insisted that I did in fact call her Lauren and not Dr. Nguyen. She listened to every single one of my concerns and I could really tell that she wanted to help. She reassured me in every conversation that we had and was incredibly friendly. I genuinely have never looked forward to going back to a doctors office, but I do with this one.
