I have worked in a variety of health care settings including acute care, skilled and long-term care. For the last 20 years, I worked for an insurance company as a nutrition consultant helping clients manage conditions with diet and nutrition. I am a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and Certified in Weight Management. I have worked with many clients for diabetes/prediabetes management, GI management and weight management to name a few, but have worked with clients with several other chronic conditions over the years. The client is the driver of their care. I am here to help clients discover ways to improve and enhance their health with diet and nutrition and meet their overall health goals. In our first session, we will get to know each other and about the reason(s) for our session. We will discuss relevant information to understand more about the goals of the client. We will review specific routines (eating, exercise, sleep, etc) to help determine any suggestions and strategies to help meet the clients goals.
