Laura Skiba, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based mental health care. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their mental health journey.
Laura earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University. Her diverse professional background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and the importance of developing strong, trusting relationships.
Laura takes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to psychiatric treatment, recognizing that mental health care is never one-size-fits-all. She emphasizes thoughtful psychiatric evaluations, personalized treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing support to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their emotional well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Why wait? Initially, I like to move fast and frequently with appointments and medication changes. Changing a small dose every 4 weeks for someone struggling with crippling ADHD, anxiety, or depression can take what feels like forever. Depending on availability, I try and have a few visits the first month or two to get everything on point. This can take upwards of 6-9 months with most offices moving at a snail's pace! I try and supercharge this process.
