Laurel Tronsen is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington and holds a Bachelor's degree from Western Governors University. She has recent experience working as an outpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner in a community mental health setting in Seattle, Washington. Prior to this, she worked in an adult psychiatric unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Laurel provides medication management to clients across the lifespan and is dedicated to developing trusting, collaborative, and effective working relationships. She enjoys partnering with clients to offer evidence-based treatment options that align with their goals and values. Additionally, she offers genetic testing for psychiatric medication response, ADHD testing, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically we start with the scheduling team in checking insurance and making sure you fully understand your potential cost and outcomes. Almost all patients come to our practice for medication management, either wondering if they need medication or are already on it. We can also discuss alternative therapy like Transmagnetic Stimulation, TMS, ketamine treatments, genetic testing for medication matching, and ADHD testing. First visit is one hour virtually or in person, then 30 minute follow ups after that. Looking forward to meeting you!
