About Lauren Churchey
Lauren Churchey, MSN, FNP-C is a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Lauren graduated with honors from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force. She worked as a certified Registered Nurse for 8 years while gaining experience in critical care, telemetry, and medical-surgical nursing. Prior to beginning her career as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, she also served her country as an Air Force Captain with overseas deployment experience.
Lauren graduated with highest honors from Xavier University with her Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed to practice through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Her interest in the complex field of dermatology is evident through her compassionate care for patients of all ages and her ability to excel in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple skin, hair, and nail disorders.
Lauren is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurses’ Society, Ohio Association of Advanced Practices Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. When not focusing on dermatology, Lauren enjoys reading, volunteering with animal rescues, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and three small dogs.
