Hi, I’m Lauren Collier, DNP, PMHNP-BC. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides warm, thoughtful, and highly personalized care for adults of all backgrounds.
I provide mostly medication management (please note this). My style is approachable and collaborative—I take the time to truly get to know you, so you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first visit.
I treat a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, life transitions, and stress/burnout. I also have a special focus in maternal and women’s mental health, including perinatal and reproductive psychiatry—supporting clients through fertility journeys, pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive life transitions.

What should a new client know about working with you?
You don’t have to have the “right words” or have it all figured out to start. I’ll meet you where you are. My goal is for you to leave appointments feeling clearer, more supported, and confident that you have a plan. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to listen deeply, explain things clearly, and make treatment feel realistic and doable.
I take a whole-person approach—looking beyond symptoms to understand sleep, stress, relationships, medical factors, lifestyle, and your unique strengths. Treatment should fit your life, not overwhelm it.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
First visit: We’ll take time to understand what’s been going on, what you’re experiencing day-to-day, what you’ve tried in the past, and what you want to improve. We’ll identify your goals together and outline a treatment plan that feels aligned and practical.
Ongoing care: We’ll track progress, adjust the plan as needed, and focus on steady, meaningful improvement—not quick fixes. If medication is part of your care, I use an evidence-based, thoughtful approach and I’ll walk you through your options, benefits, and side effects in clear, straightforward language. I also incorporate practical strategies you can use between visits to support real-life change.
