About Lauren Costigan

Hi All! My name is Lauren Costigan, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from Western Michigan University. After college, I went on to Michigan State University to complete my Dietetic Internship. I have a wide range of experience including, but not limited to, diabetes education, bariatric nutrition counseling, long-term care nutrition, and nutrition coaching—creating individualized plans to meet one’s goals or health needs. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, golfing, reading, and cuddling my French Bulldog, Odie. My favorite food is all food (but if I had to choose one, it would be either sushi or anything Italian). I believe that nutrition is not a one-stop shop and needs to be specific to an individual’s needs, tweaked and tailored to how their body responds! I am thrilled to meet you and support you along your health and wellness journey.
