About Lauren Dewlin
Lauren completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at Towson University, where she served as vice president of Towson University American Red Cross Corps. She then received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Her clinical year consisted primarily of rotations in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. These rotations fueled her passion for dermatology and upon graduation, she dedicated her career to improving the lives of her patients through skin care.
Lauren wrote her master’s thesis on tattoo removal with lasers, a project that foreshadowed her future expertise.
Lauren is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Maryland State Board of Physicians. She also is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants.

What really sets Dr. Lauren Dewlin apart is her friendly personality and very knowledgeable. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, and willing to answer my questions to make sure I’m comfortable with the process. It’s rare to find that kind of personalized support these days.

I highly recommend Dr. Dewlin! Everything from the front desk staff to the MA, to Dr. Dewlin was handled with care, respect, and kindness. Booking through Zocdoc, there was a mix-up with my appointment and I was scheduled for just an eczema visit, but I was mainly looking for a skin cancer screening appointment. This led to an appointment time slot that was a lot less than what was needed. I offered to come back for the screening but they were SO kind and did the exam--no questions asked--anyways! They were so accommodating and kind about the mix-up, I was genuinely so grateful. I felt comfortable with Dr. Dewlin, and couldn't have had a better experience. If you're contemplating going, just do it!
